About Me
I’m a software engineer with 20+ years of professional C# development experience, now deliberately building toward a career in game development.
Over the course of my career I’ve architected distributed microservices systems, led database migrations, established engineering standards across organizations, and mentored developers from junior to senior level. I bring the same discipline to game development that I applied to production enterprise systems โ clean, maintainable code, thoughtful architecture, and a genuine focus on the end-user experience.
In Unity and C#, I’m in my element. C# is the language I’ve written professionally for two decades, and Unity’s component-based architecture maps naturally to the object-oriented design patterns I’ve used throughout my career. My current portfolio includes a 2D space shooter with a full enemy AI and power-up system, and a classic platformer with physics-based movement and a persistent checkpoint system.
What I bring to a game team that most junior candidates don’t: production engineering instincts. I know how to write code that scales, how to structure systems for long-term maintainability, and how to collaborate across design, product, and QA โ because I’ve been doing it professionally for over twenty years.
I’m currently seeking my first industry role in game development, and I’m building my portfolio with that goal in mind.
